Our pages on the wonderful Kensington Club, sadly long gone, has continued to attract interest. Anne Hambrook, formerly Anne Lewis / Anne Lythgoe has sent us some very special memories.

Anne ran Anne's Bistro and remembers when the Ken was first opened as a Casino. The images she has kindly allowed us to use, shows her long term friend Garry Dallas, and others from her families personal collection. Of the images shown, her fondest memory is her Daughters Christening attended by the 60s band Amen Corner whos lead singer is her daughters God Father. Anne recalls the joy of the Vicar of the time , who eagerly collected the band's autographs, which he promptly sold in aid of Church funds. Enterprising or what?
