Pic of the Week

This weeks pictures are from the local archive. They are Pill RFC 1913

and ex GWR Locomotive Dartington Hall, pictured leaving Loco Yard lower dock street, heading towards AD Junction and the main Newport to Cardiff main line. The picture was taken in the deep snow of 1963. Shortly after this was taken, PILL loco sheds were closed and also the line along Kingsway and the riverbank to Llantarnam and Pontypool.
