Mr John Wynn of Robert Wynn Heavy Haulage, this week hosted another of his informal social evenings, for ex employees, collegues and friends from the transport fraternity. The well attended get togethers are a perfect occassion to remember the halcyon days of Heavy haulage when the streets of Newport reverberated to the massive Pacific and Diamond T tractors of the famous company, as they began their slow and arduous journeys to all parts , carrying the familier massive loads for which they were known the world over.
